The week a trio of brothers (Jonas Brothers) broke up the band, we bring you the story of girls in a band – this one has four sisters. These four stylishly retrofitted gals from Fort Collins, CO mix in a little classic rock with more folk-ish touches to create a sound all their own.
With the first letter in their first names making up their name, Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza were home-schooled daughters of a songwriting (and landscaper) father and an artistic mother. They write their own songs and design their stage outfits, so they clearly draw something good from each parent.
Family bands have always tended to be more of a boy thing than a girl trend, but with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame acts like Heart still going strong, perhaps it’s time to give female siblings that create music together just a little more credit.
