Sheer tops are back in style since they were a hit in the 90s. Just like lace becoming popular all over again, sheer also reveals underclothes layers and even some skin. The trend is popular, even in the premiere of Project Runway’s season 11, Heidi Klum wore her black sheer top with a black bra peeking through.
Personally, I like some of these styles depending on what is worn. I have seen bright colored bras underneath but think black with black is the best, unless you are at work (not very appropriate for a professional setting unless you are actually in fashion.)
I have seen some comments from other sites of it being trashy or skanky and others, such as Pinterest, as being cute, especially when the outfit is more like a bikini showing through in the summer. What do you think? Is this look sexy and “in”, being that the famous supermodel and other celebrities are wearing it, or “out” because it reveals too much?
