She & Him coming to Philadelphia in July, announce fourth studio album

She & Him will release their fourth studio album and third of original tunes on Merge Records May 7. The duo, comprised of actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel and guitarist/producer M. Ward, recorded "Volume 3" in Los Angeles, Portland and New York City. The 14-song album was produced by M. Ward and will include 11 songs composed by Deschanel and 3 covers.

"Volume 3" will feature contributions from NRBQ's Joey Spampinato, Mike Watt, Tilly and the Wall, Pierre de Reeder from Rilo Kiley, and Tom Hagerman from Devotchka.

She & Him also announced a North America summer tour, including a stop in Philadelphia. Deschanel and M. Ward will perform at the Mann Center for Performing Arts on July 9 at 7:30 p.m. Cameron Obscura will support the show.
