Doctors released Shayne Lamas out of the hospital, after she spent around 11 days recuperating from pregnancy complications, which resulted in a miscarriage, reports Us Weekly, on Feb. 20, 2014.

Shayne issued this statement to Us Weekly: "Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I've cried reading the expression of generosity and warmth from everyone. I'm out of ICU at Mission Viejo Hospital. I cannot thank the medical staff here enough for not giving up on me." She continued to say, "To everyone out there, please donate blood. You can save a life like mine. In loving memory of my son, Rex Jagger Lamas-Richie."

On Feb. 19, 2014, Shayne’s dad, Lorenzo Lamas tweeted, “@ShayneDahlLamas recovering nicely with @nikrichie in the comfort of their home. Thank you for all the positive energy and support. U rock!”

Shayne paid tribute to the son that she lost in her statement. "In loving memory of my son, Rex Jagger Lamas-Richie." Her husband Nik Richie named their baby, Rex Jagger Lamas-Richie. He always wanted a son named Rex and he picked Jagger after the singer Mick Jagger.

On Feb. 9, 2014, Shayne collapsed in her Orange County home. They rushed her to the hospital where doctors performed emergency surgery because she started to bleed in her uterus. Shayne was in her 16th week of pregnancy. Even though the doctors tried, they could not save her baby.

Shayne was placed on a ventilator system until she was able to breathe on her own. Then, on Valentine’s Day, Shayne’s heart stopped. The doctors worked to get her heart beating again.

Take care Shayne.
