Shayne Lamas hospitalized: Shayne Lamas loses baby, is in a coma

Shayne Lamas lost her baby and is in a coma. On Feb. 10, TMZ reported that Lamas was rushed to the hospital via ambulance around 7:30 last night after she unexpectedly collapsed. When Lamas arrived at the hospital, doctors determined that Lamas was "bleeding internally around her uterus" and they needed to do emergency surgery. According to the report, Lamas' baby was lost during the surgery.

After coming out of surgery, Shayne was in a coma. It's unclear if this coma was medically induced but given the fact that doctors are "optimistic about her recovery" that seems to be the case.

Shayne Lamas and her husband, Nik Richie, recently announced that they were expecting their second child together. It's unclear exactly what happened but it is believed that Lamas was nearly 20 weeks along in her pregnancy.

Shayne's husband Nik and her dad Lorenzo are with her in the hospital. An update on her condition has not been made available since TMZ reported the news around 2 p.m. EST today.

Update to follow.
