Shayne Lamas hospitalized due to 'marital stress' with Nik Richie

Shayne Lamas was hospitalized Tuesday due to "marital stress" issues she has with Nik Richie. According to a Wednesday report by RadarOnline, Shayne finds it hard to cope with the wild lifestyle of partying and drinking that "The Dirty" blogger is maintaining.

Shayne and Nik were on VHI's "Couples Therapy" last season with Dr. Jenn Berman and were struggling through counseling then. The two were married in April 2010 after knowing each other just eight hours while in Vegas and have gone though some rough patches along the way.

A source close to Shayne revealed that 2013 has been a year of non-stop drinking with Nik. He loves the attention he gets from women despite the fact he claims to love his wife so much. They have a daughter together and Nik allegedly insists he needs to be seen at parties because it helps his career, which helps him support his wife and daughter, Press.

Now the stress has gotten to be too much for Shayne.

“Shayne has been beside herself the past few weeks, she’s feeling overwhelmed, she has no idea what Nik is up to half the time, and feels neglected and abandoned. It’s become so bad that she literally broke down emotionally on Tuesday and had to be rushed to the ER.

“That’s got to stop. She truly loves him, no doubt, but a woman can only take so much, and if Nik does really love her — as he claims — he better get his act together STAT — or his next TV appearance could well be on Divorce Court.”
