The subtitle of this year's Shawangunk Wine Trail's "Around the World" June promotional event pretty much sums up the attraction: "Go global without leaving the Valley."

Fourteen Hudson Valley member wineries will participate in the June 14-15 Father's Day Weekend event. Purchasing a passport allows visitors to tour the entire trail starting from any point they choose. They'll be treated to food samples paired with each winery's signature wines.

Tickets are available now online, priced at $37.89 for two-day admission or $21.60 for one-day passports. Designated driver tickets go for $10.80 for two days.

The trail is most easily accessed from the Capital Region by taking Thruway Exits 16, 17 and 18 of the Thruway. Participating wineries, listed alphabetically: Adair Vineyards, Applewood Winery, Baldwin Vineyards, Benmarl Winery, Brimstone Hill Winery, Brotherhood Winery, Clearview Vineyards, Demarest Hill Winery, Glorie Farm Winery, Palaia Vineyards, Robibero Winery, Stoutridge Vineyard, Warwick Valley Winery, Whitecliff Vineyard.
