Shattergang Brothers is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today in an article by Frank Lepore on TCGPlayer.com. product "Commander (2013 Edition)." This mythic rare legendary creature will be featured in the "Power Hungry" Jund deck alongside Prossh, Skyraider of Kher.
Shattergang Brothers - 1BRG
Legendary Creature - Goblin Artificer (Mythic Rare)
2B, Sacrifice a creature: Each other player sacrifices a creature.
2R, Sacrifice an artifact: Each other player sacrifices an artifact.
2G, Sacrifice an enchantment: Each other player sacrifices an enchantment.
Lepore points out that Hammer of Porphoros creates enchantment artifact creatures, making it the perfect card to pair with Shattergang Brothers because the tokens created by it can be sacrificed to any three of Shattergang Brothers' abilities. One card that's excellent to use alongside Shattergang Brothers is Rancor because it'll return to your hand every time it hits the graveyard. Trading Post is another great addition to any deck attempting to abuse Shattergang Brothers because it can create creature tokens for you to sacrifice and return your sacrificed artifacts back from your graveyard to your hand.
Shattergang Brothers works well with cards that have "dies" or "goes to the graveyard" abilities. Dark Prophecy will allow you to gain card advantage every time one of your creatures dies. Glissa, the Traitor is another powerful card you'll want to include. Because your opponents will be sacrificing creatures too, Reaper of the Wilds allows you to find good cards with scry or better yet you'll be able to gain a massive amount of card advantage with Harvester of Souls.
