Sharon Stone, 54, and boyfriend of eight months Martin Mica, 27, have called it quits, according to an exclusive report in Life & Style magazine on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
A source close to Stone told Life & Style, “She [Sharon] called it off after the holidays. They didn’t share the same interests. Her passions are philanthropy, politics, activism – he wasn’t into any of that.”
Allegedly it was not just lake of similar interests that caused the split between Stone and Mica. The source told Life & Style, “Sharon [Stone] is busy. She has three sons and that keeps her hands full and [she] still travels for work.”
Sharon Stone has been married twice. She was married to television producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 until 1987. On February 14, 1998 Stone married Phil Bronstein, executive editor of the San Francisco Examiner and later the San Francisco Chronicle. The couple adopted a son, Roan Bronstein in 2000. Bronstein filed for divorce from Stone in 2003. The divorce was final in 2004, and Phil Bronstein received primary custody of Roan, Stone received visitation.
When Sharon Stone starred in the movie “Sliver” she met co-producer William J. MacDonald who left his wife Naomi Baca for Stone. Sharon and MacDonald got engaged, but separated a year later in 1994.
While working on the movie “The Quick and the Dead” in 1995 Sharon Stone met second assistant director Bob Wagner. The two became engaged, and when they split Stone returned the engagement ring via FedEx.
In addition to son Roan Bronstein, Sharon Stone has two other sons, Laird Vonne Stone whom she adopted in 2005, and Qunn Kelly Stone whom she adopted in 2006.
Sharon Stone may be best known for her role in the move “Basic Instinct” starring opposite Michael Douglas.
