They promised there would be secrets and boy did they deliver. On the September 9th premiere of CBS’s “The Talk,” Sharon Osbourne was the first of the ladies to tell a secret on the show’s new “The Talk Tells All!” segment.
Osbourne told a long winded tale of a “fling” she had when she was 25 years old and new to the United States. But the fling – with a man she met in a club—was with no ordinary performer.
“Who was the man I had a flingy wingy with?’ she said. “That man was Jay Leno.”
Osbourne revealed that her fling with the talk show king was before she was in a relationship with future hubby, Ozzy Osbourne, and she laughed when co-host Julie Chen asked her: "The Chen wants to know did the chin get in the way?”
While the secret of Osbourne’s intimate relationship with Leno has never been told, it’s not the first time Osbourne has admitted that she was once friendly with the late night host.
In 2003, WENN reported that Osbourne and Leno had a “brief fling” in the late 1970’s ago when he was a single stand-up comedian. Sharon said at the time, "I moved to this town and I was lonely and Jay was very nice to me. I didn't know many people and I was short, fat and hairy."
But she also added that their relationship was never intimate.
In 2009, Osbourne told New York Post she had a falling out with Leno when he banned her and her husband from his talk show.
“He had always been a friend of ours, but then Ozzy went and performed on Jimmy Kimmel, and Jay has banned us ever since,” she said. “I will go to [David] Letterman or Kimmel. I am not going on Leno. Thank God, I don’t have to sell anything like a movie or a drama series.”
