Lake Tahoe Restaurant Week is an eight-day celebration of Lake Tahoe's fine dining. Sixteen of Sharon Gay's top choices from her Lake Tahoe Restaurant Guide are on the list of partipating restaurants - including 19 Kitchen & Bar at Harvey's, Beacon Bar & Grill, Chart House, Ciera Steak + Chophouse, Edgewood Restaurant, Friday's Station, Lone Eagle Grille, PlumpJack Café, Six Peaks Grille at The Resort at Squaw Creek, Soule Domain, Soupa, Baxter's Bistro and Twenty-Two Bistro & Bar.
Lake Tahoe Restaurant Week gives Lake Tahoe food aficionados an opportunity to enjoy 3-course, prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at more than 30 participating restaurants throughout the Lake Tahoe region for $20, $30 or $40 per person - tax and gratuity not included - and $2 of every $30 3-course dinner goes to the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center.
Menu options include: 19 Kitchen & Bar offers lobster corn chowder and beef medallions fromage, Edgewood has maple leaf duck breast served with an apple ginger sauce and sweet potato gnocchi, and paired with a 2006 BR Cohn, Silver Label, Cabernet. River Grill has green chard raviolis with Sonoma goat cheese and portabella mushrooms, and Six Peaks Grille is offering a pan seared Bristol Bay salmon, Lakefront in Incline Village - Lone Eagle Grille offers a mesquite grilled New York steak over watercress and red cabbage salad.
