To share, as defined by the Encarta Dictionary, is to let somebody use something or to use something along with others. This can be a material thing or it can be intangible. Josh Elledge, from Grand Rapids, Michigan created a website, SavingsAngel.com, where he shares his knowledge of cutting grocery shopping costs with families in need. His effort educates others and will continue to set forward a positive motion that passes this knowledge down generation after generation. Josh will offer testimony that sharing your experience makes for a better world.
If everyone were like Josh and made an effort to mentor others by gifting their know how, it could be a step towards solving something big like world hunger. Are you thinking this is a stretch? Perhaps but the karmic impact of sharing and the power of education can open a door to bigger things, things that may have, at one time, seemed impossible. Sharing takes on new meanings and continues to gift heart-felt emotions when you’re able to enjoy special moments with another person. Have you ever experienced something that was pretty great but felt a bit down because a loved one wasn’t with you to share the bliss?
As someone who loves to gamble, the big hit or most likely a small hit, is exemplified emotionally 100 fold when the experience is shared with friends or family. Buying dinner or paying for the hotel with the cash won really caps off the get away nicely.
It is the emotional connection between people tied with sharing an adventure that overall, makes everything feel better. Of course there are times in your life when you may need a break from everyone around you and a solo escape is necessary. It is good to have some alone time but all and all sharing your journey is really like the icing on the cake!
The message here, abundance both in material things and more importantly intangibles such as knowledge, ethics and overall love is more enjoyable when it is shared. Life’s ride, when overlapped with another, makes the highs even greater and offers comfort that sooths the lows. Remember to make an effort to share. Your parents knew what they were talking about when they taught this concept to you years ago!
