On Valentine’s Day there will be millions of people who will share their love in many ways including the giving of romantic cards, flowers, boxes of chocolate candy, as well as having romantic dinners.
As people express their love by doing those things, they are usually looking to be so wrapped up in love with the other person that they can have a long-lasting relationship.
In order to build such a wonderful relationship people will do things that will greatly benefit and make the other person feel loved. Another major part of a lasting relationship is having similar interests, fun activities, and values with your loved one.
Thus, when a man and a woman who have common interests and also have a personal relationship with God (through accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior) fall in love with each other, they have a great foundation for a lasting relationship.
As they grow in their love for each other and follow God’s principles of living found in the Bible, they find that they may want to get married and become a family.
After they get married, they can use their love for each other, along with the insight and power of the Holy Spirit to guide them through the many challenges of living in modern society that they will face as they go through their journey of life together.
