Sharay Reed, founder of Gospel Musician's Guild of Chicago holds a monthly conference with guest speakers actively working in the music industry. The purpose of the conference is to educate up and coming musicians in the fundamentals of the music industry.

Yesterday's guest speakers were Financial Planner Andre Leverette, 2nd Nature Band performed, speakers, Phil Tarver & Michael Weatherspoon. It was a big hit. Sharay has pushed the limits of his talents since winning the Grammy All-American High School Jazz Band at 17, collaborating with Yolanda Adams and performing at the Grammy's with Branford Marsalis and Arturo Sandoval.

The Gospel Musician’s Guild of Chicago encourages community bands and ministry leaders to send band members to the conferences for training.
