Reports that Shaq lip-syncs Beyoncé have hit the internet, just a day after Bey performed the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show in New Orleans. The former NBA player and one of the to players of all time, decided to mouth the words to Beyonce's songs that were part of her on-stage set.
According to a report from Softpedia.com earlier on Jan 4, a YouTube video has gone viral showing Shaquille O'Neal mouthing the words to the ballad "Halo." It was the final song of Beyonce's performance during the halftime show at Sunday night's Super Bowl, which also featured a Destiny's Child reunion on stage.
Of course, the video was mocking the recent Beyonce lip-syncing incident during the Presidential Inauguration 2013 in Washington, D.C. During the performance of the national anthem, Knowles used a pre-recorded track of her voice which played as she lip-synched the words. She would later admit to not really singing the song, but proved critics and doubters wrong by belting out the song during a pre-Super Bowl press event.
Super Bowl 2013 was shown nationally on CBS for television viewers Sunday night. Shaq currently works as a studio analyst for TNT's NBA programming, which can be seen locally on Cox Cable channel 58 before, during, and after NBA games.
What do you think of his lip-syncing skills? Should he sing the anthem at a big event soon?
