'Shaq-Fu' sequel confirmed to be "coming soon" by none other than, Shaq himself

During an interview at CES, GamerFitnation decided to drop the question about the possibility of a Shaq-Fu sequel. To their surprise, Shaq confirmed that the game is definitely in the works by stating, "Yes, it's coming soon, and the graphics look crazy."

Now, it is easy to brush this off as Shaq being Shaq, as it seems like he is just having fun and joking around. However, Event Hubs reminds us of those little trademarks that were filed last year for Shaqfighter. They were filed by Mine O'Mine, which is the company that runs Shaq.com. So, these were also said to be presumed as protective trademarks that covered video games, computer software, video game characters, electronics action games, playing cards, and online games, Event Hubs reported.

With all the retro games being brought back, we never know. Shaq-Fu may just be one of them. This doesn't seem entirely far-fetched, but it does seem as though Shaq was just shedding light on a dreaded title because his name and likeness were used in it.

Thoughts? Was this a serious comment on an up-coming game or an answer for kicks? The video of the interview can be seen to the left.
