Shannen Doherty talks 'True Tori' and Jason Priestly on 'The Arsenio Hall Show'

If you grew up in the 90s, chances are you were a fan of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Shannen Doherty played Brenda Walsh for a few seasons before leaving the show. Doherty has held several other roles since then in both movies and television, but she is best known for playing Prue on “Charmed.” According to a May 16 report from E! Online, when Shannen Doherty stopped by “The Arsenio Hall Show” she had a lot to say about former co-stars Tori Spelling and Jason Priestly.

Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling have had their differences in the past. The “Beverly Hills, 90210” era was rough for both of them. Now that it has been nearly two decades, Doherty says she has nothing but love for her co-star. She offered up some opinions on “True Tori,” the docu-series Spelling is airing about her struggle with husband, Dean McDermott's affair. She watches the show to support Spelling and told Hall that it would be hard to be in that position.

When Jason Priestly worked with Shannen Doherty on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” they played twins. It was obvious that he probably knew her quite well. When Priestly called her a diva in his new book, fans weren't shocked. Doherty says she doesn't recall the incidents mentioned by Priestly, but it is entirely possible since memories can differ from person to person.

Currently Shannen Doherty is a huge animal activist. She spends a lot of time tweeting about her new movie “Blood Lake” which airs on Animal planet. Doherty supports a lot of different causes that all deal with animals. There are plenty of ways she interacts with fans and helps them get involved with the causes that are near to her heart. While there are still fans who are holding out hope for an original “Beverly Hills, 90210” reunion, it is highly unlikely at this point. Perhaps it would be better to wish for a “Charmed” reunion?
