Liz says she had no idea that her boyfriend of ten months was going to ask her to marry him as they posed beamingly for a snapshot inside the Old Course Hotel, which she later tweeted. Only Shane Warne grinned even wider as he knew of the surprise he had been planning to spring on Liz!
Hurley wears a pearl grey strapless bandage dress while the Australian cricket player is sporting a dark suit with a purple tie.
Word has it that Liz was wearing her stunning square cut blue sapphire engagement ring with two sparkling trillion diamonds as she attended the Dunhill tournament.
The stunning 45-year-old Estée Lauder spokesmodel wore a navy track suit pants with a matching sweatshirt and scarf, while Shane wore cream pants and a baby blue jumper with a cobalt blue shirt.
Hurley’s 9-year-old son Damien, nine, also attended the golf tournament with mom and soon to be step-dad.
The 42-year-old Warne had reportedly proposed last night while enjoying a romantic dinner with Hurley at the restaurant in the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Scotland – right in front of other restaurant patrons who served as witnesses!
Per sources, Shane did not get down on one knee, but when it was the proposal was announced, the other guests apparently stood up and applauded.
While Shane Warne has been divorced since 2006 after ten years of marriage to ex-wife Simone, Elizabeth Hurley only just finalized her divorce to Arun Nayar this June.
Many have commented on the amazing transformation that Shane Warne has made in both his weight loss as well as a much youthful looking complexion (and darker hair from his previous brassy blond!).
However, Warne insists that he did not go under the knife to achieve his new look that has the couple looking quite well-matched in personal style!
