According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news Tuesday (Sept. 24), "The Walking Dead" alum James Allen McCune will appear on the Chicago-set dramedy for multiple episodes as Matt a "shy, sweet, inexperienced 20-year-old who takes a shine to Debbie Gallagher (Emma Kenney)."
The actor played Beth's (Emily Kinney) boyfriend Jimmy in Season 2 of the FX zombie drama. He has also guest starred in an episode of "Homeland" and starred in USA's "Anna Nicole" TV movie earlier this year.
The second actor to join the Showtime series is "See Dad Run" star Danika Yarosh, who will play a 15-year-old "helping Debbie transition out of childhood and into the more grown-up world of boys and girls." The 15-year-old actress' other TV credits include "In Plain Sight" and "1600 Penn."
One familiar face viewers won't see on the upcoming fourth season of "Shameless" is Justin Chatwin, who left the series after last season. He played Fiona Gallagher's (Emmy Rossum) on-again, off-again love interest Steve Wilton/Jimmy Lishman, who was presumably killed off in the Season 3 finale.
"Shameless" is scheduled to return for Season 4 on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 9/8 p.m. CT on Showtime.
