'Shameless' season 3: Fiona's losing Jimmy as V's threesome gets disturbing

The “Shameless” episode, “A Long Way From Home,” has just cemented Fiona’s life for the next couple of decades, as she’s agreed to be the guardian of her brothers and sister until they hit the legal age of 18. With Liam being just two, this means Fiona has a lot of work cut out for her and this doesn't sit well with Jimmy, as seen on season 3 of “Shameless,” Sunday, March 3, 2013.

This show is getting into even bigger heavy duty live stressors for the young Fiona. As Paste Magazine writes on Monday, March 4, 2013, “The show continues to ask hard questions that willingly lack easy answers. This sums up the lifestyle of the Gallagher family just right.

It looks like Jimmy is ready to bail as the responsibility Fiona took on isn’t his idea of having a romantic relationship. He’s upset because she just went ahead and filed for custody of her brothers and sister without even consulting him. Fiona’s heart lies with family first, as she’s lived one horrendous life as Frank Gallagher’s daughter and she wants to save her siblings from this.

She tells the family court judge a heart wrenching story of how Frank dropped her off on the side of a curb with her two smaller brothers when she was six and never came back for them. She recalls how one of the boys was burning up and no one would help her get her brother to the clinic. She got him there on foot just as his fever spiked to 104. She tells the judge, this is one of the many episodes of neglect her and her siblings have been subjected to.

Jimmy is having sex with his estranged wife and his cheating on Fiona doesn’t seem to bother him a bit. Another sexual story line is one that many don’t want to see on TV, but Fiona’s friends are trying to get pregnant and the threesome that they conjured up to do this is enough to make the folk’s with strong stomachs sick.

Veronica, or "V" as Fiona calls her, and Kevin are using V's mother as a surrogate to have a baby. Because the turkey baster system wasn’t working, they cut out the middle man, or middle baster, and he is having intercourse with her mother. The threesome was a “Shameless” sight to see last week and it looks like Veronica’s mother is getting into sex with Kevin as she’s dressing really sexy for their procreation appointments.

Veronica is sickened at the thought of Kevin bopping her mother, but she wants a baby so bad that this is the lesser of two evils, so she bears with it. The scene in last week’s show with Kevin laying on the bed and Veronica’s mother riding him with Veronica sitting on the other end of him was a bit too much, even if it is to create a life! Watching a mother and a daughter having sex with the same man is just plain disturbing, especially with all the sounds added in to show that they were both having a good time.

With Jimmy on his way out and the Gallagher’s house on its way out “Shameless” is going to get more so as the Gallagher’s try to stay together as a family.

Fiona forged a will and when Lip went to file it, someone beat him to it. A long-lost cousin, Patrick, filed the will that is binding because it has the latest date on it. That will gives him the house that Fiona and the brood live in. With the Gallagher’s looking at homelessness, the antics look like they get even more “Shameless” next week. After all Fiona went through to stage a death of her aunt, who was buried years ago by Frank in the backyard.

They got a body from the nursing home where Veronica works and took it home. They had to cut off one of her toes because the aunt who is the legal owner of the house had a missing toe. Fiona clipped off the toe and waited for the authorities to get there after calling and reporting her dead aunt.

With the aunt gone, the house is their’s, so they thought, but the will that supersedes the fake one that Fiona concocted means the house will soon be cousin Patrick’s. One way or another, the Gallagher’s will make life miserable for Patrick until they get the house, this is seen in next week’s previews.
