Ahead of National Remembrance Day for Those Killed by Illegal Aliens, the citizen advocacy group known as the Tea Party Immigration Coalition (TPIC) wrote to President Obama, asking him to stand with the victims and their families by lowering the nation’s flags to half-staff on Sunday, November 3rd.
The TPIC's letter read:
Dear President Obama,
Millions of American citizens and legal immigrants are killed, maimed and otherwise victimized by illegal alien criminals every year. This unnecessary harm to Americans is perpetuated by the failure of the federal government to enforce our nation's immigration and employment laws. And the toll on our citizens will continue to grow so long as you ignore your responsibility to enforce those laws.
Accordingly, we have designated November 3rd as the third annual Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Illegal Aliens.
November 6th is the 27th anniversary of the 1986 IRCA Amnesty for illegal aliens which encouraged, and over a quarter century later continues to encourage, illegal immigration by those expecting amnesty.
Mr. President, we are asking you to order all national flags to be flown at half-staff on November 3rd to honor our fallen citizens, victimized not only by illegal alien criminals, but by the federal government's refusal to secure the border and enforce our immigration laws.

Not only did Obama fail to lower the flag, the White House failed to even respond to the emails sent by both the TPIC, as well as by Breitbart News, which recently reported on the matter.
On Saturday, Breitbart reported:
A press request sent to the White House from Breitbart News seeking a response to this call has thus far gone unanswered.
While Obama refuses to acknowledge the tremendous human toll our open border with Mexico is having on this nation, he did recently see fit to order all national flags lowered to half-staff to mark the passing of a former Democrat Party career politician...
On Oct. 28, Obama issued the following proclamation:
As a mark of respect for the memory of Thomas S. Foley, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff on that day at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.
Unfortunately, we currently have a man in the White House who seems to have no regard for the lives of American citizens, unless they are either willing to worship at his feet, or, at the very least, have a "D" behind their name.
Fortunately, we have groups such as the TPIC who are willing to speak truth to power and work against the lawless policies of this administration.
Americans are also fortunate to have the Remembrance Project which sponsored events around the country this weekend, honoring those who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens.
That group's director, Maria Espinoza, recently told Breitbart News: "Our children are being ignored by politicians. It is time politicians 'represent' Americans or admit they cannot fulfill the job they promised to do and resign."
In light of all the scandals surrounding the Obama administration and this president's failure to shoulder any of the responsibility for his failures, as well as his constant, laughable assurances that his policies are somehow working, it is obvious that he has no shame.
Now, we know that this Nobel Peace Prize winner has no compassion either.
