Shakira finally premieres two-year-old 'Dare (La La La)' music video

Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira finally premiered the long-awaited music video for "Dare (La La La)" on Wednesday, May 7, via Twitter. She originally shot the colorful clip two years ago in Lisbon, but it was shelved when she became pregnant.

"Dare (La La La)" is the latest single to be released from Shakira's excellent self-titled album. However, it will only be serviced to international radio. On the fiery dance track, she teams up with pop hitmaker Dr. Luke for the first time. Tribal beats with an EDM edge light the song up. Shakira hopes to inspire a naughty version of Truth or Dare in the club when she teases, "I dare you to kiss me with everyone watching."

Shakira's self-titled album dropped in March this year but she had already been working on it two years prior. "Dare (La La La)" was originally lined up to be the lead single from Shakira. in 2012, but that was sidelined when she became pregnant with boyfriend Gerard Piqué. Prior to hitting the breaks on her album, Shakira filmed a music video for "Dare" in Lisbon, Portugal. Fans can finally peep the two-year-old clip as it was released today.

In the music video for "Dare (La La La)," Shakira moves her hips to the dance track. Wearing a black dress, she dances around beautiful parts of Lisbon, including a garden maze, with some locals. A full-on party later breaks out in the streets with Shakira at the center of the action. Like in "Hips Don't Lie", the singer-songwriter makes the world move with her spirited performance.

Shakira also premiered the music video for the Spanish version of "Dare" today titled "La La La." Everything is essentially the same except she sings to the track in Spanish. "La La La" is only featured on the deluxe edition of Shakira. in the the U.S.

Aside from music, Shakira is currently starring as a coach on NBC's "The Voice." This season will be her last, though, with No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani taking over the spinning red chair this winter.
