On Jan. 13 Colombian singer-songwriter and "The Voice" coach Shakira debuted her new single "Can't Remember to Forget You" on her VEVO YouTube channel. Shakira's new album is set to be released on March 25 via Live Nation / RCA Records, and as of now, the album title has yet to be announced. The song "Can't Remember to Forget You" is the first single Shakira has released as a lead artist since "Addicted to You" in 2012. Shakira's upcoming album will be the first full length studio album she has released since "Sale el Sol" in 2010. It will be her first English album released since 2009.
A music video for the single was shot in Dec. of 2013, and it was directed by Joseph Kahn. No word on the official release date for the music video. The release of her new album will come one month after "The Voice" season 6 premieres on NBC. Shakira will be returning to the show as a coach along with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Usher. Carson Daly will also return to the show as the host.
