The first photo of Shakira's baby has taken the Twitter-world by storm. Shakira's boyfriend and proud dad, Gerard Pique, tweeted the baby photo of their newborn just hours after Milan was born. The adorable picture of Milan's feet and over-sized personalized Nike sneakers has since been retweeted nearly 14,000 times. The first Shakira baby photo was clearly taken while mom and baby were in the hospital, as the little guy's hospital bracelet is prominently displayed on his tiny ankle.

Shakira announced the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak on Jan., 22 on her official website on Wednesday. "The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification."
While the couple has not yet shared what we can only assume is the gorgeous face of their newborn, they did reveal how fans of the singer and soccer player can help celebrate Milan's birth. "If you'd like to celebrate the birth of Milan with Shakira & Gerard, please give to our Baby Shower for UNICEF," the new mom tweeted today.

Shakira's baby is among the first born of the highly anticipated celebrity babies due in 2013. Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian, country star Chely Wright (twins), Kristen Bell, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Holly Madison, Jessica Simpson and "Bachelor" star Molly Mesnick will all give birth this year.
