According to MTV, Gerard Piqué and Shakira welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world on Jan. 22, 2013. Little Milan was born in Barcelona, Spain at 9:36pm. Shakira arrived at the hospital early Tuesday morning. While waiting for baby Milan to come into the world, Shakira tweeted to her fans in both English and Spanish. She asked for fans to joins her in prayer on the very special day.
Shakira had to have a caesarean section and Piqué was the only make that was allowed to be present during the delivery. The couple has stated that both the baby and mother are recovering well since the birth and no images of little Milan have been released as of yet. Milan is the first child for Shakira and Piqué and it is predicted that the little bundle of joy will eventually be shown to the public and that the media will create quite frenzy when the day arrives.
