The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will hold a Volunteer Open House on Thursday, May 15th at 7:30 p.m. at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre in Madison. The Theatre is looking for people who wish to volunteer to help out with ushering, concessions, and the gift shop for the 2014 Season which begins May 28th. Those attend the Open House will learn more about the 2014 Season from Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte. They will also be able to mingle with veteran volunteers, meet the professional management staff, and find out more about the Theatre’s volunteer opportunities. The Theatre welcomes volunteers 16 years and older.
In return for their work, volunteers receive ticket vouchers redeemable for admissions to The Theatre’s productions throughout the season. Performances are held Tuesday through Sunday evenings and Saturday and Sunday matinees beginning May 28th at The Theatre’s Main Stage, the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre in Madison. Volunteers are also needed for the Theatre’s production on its Outdoor Stage, the Greek Theatre, on the campus of the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, running June 18th through July 17th.
