Shakespeare in Delaware Park, the second-largest free outdoor Shakespeare festival in the United States, will be holding its 19th annual Fabulous Feast fundraiser on Saturday, March 23rd from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the Connecticut Street Armory, located at 184 Connecticut St. in Buffalo.
Guests will enjoy a five-course banquet including the Bard’s selection of beer & wine, as well as entertainment and three “Royal Auctions” with guest auctioneer Mike Randall of WKBW-TV Channel 7.
Tickets for the Fabulous Feast are $75 per person or $145 per couple for SDP members and $90 per person or $170 per couple for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the website listed below.
2013 marks the 38th season of free Shakespeare at Delaware Park. This year’s productions are Hamlet, scheduled to run June 20th through July 14th, and Measure for Measure, scheduled to run July 25th through August 18th.
Shakespeare in Delaware Park performances take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays weather permitting – shows are never cancelled before 6:30 p.m., and updates can be found at the SDP website, shakespeareindelawarepark.org, or on the SDP Facebook page.
