“Shahs of Sunset” star Mike Shouhed has finally put a ring on longtime girlfriend Jessica Parido’s finger. Fans watched as Jessica converted to Judaism for Mike, a Persian Jew. Shouhed is a graduate of UCLA and a commercial real estate agent in Los Angeles.
When asked at the “Shahs of Sunset” reunion last if he was planning on marrying Jessica, Mike told host Andy Cohen he was not quite ready to get engaged yet. It seems that Shouhed’s cold feet got warm, and according to a post by The Dish By Bravo on July 8, the Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido got engaged. Though unusual, the proposal was romantic, and Mike put a 4-carat ring on the beautiful brunette’s finger.
Mike and Jessica went on a skydiving outing last month and Mike recounts that right before he jumped he yelled out his proposal to Parido. When the couple landed Shouhed had a champagne picnic and the 4-carat ring waiting for his lady love.
Of course Jessica said yes, and is looking forward to their wedding. Via social media he proclaimed his undying love for Jessica, calling her his soul mate and best friend. By accepting his proposal, Shouhed said, Jessica has made him the happiest man in the world and said that his life is now complete.
Jessica and Mike later shared a photo of the ring via Instagram. They said that the love and bond they share is immortal. “Shahs of Sunset” look forward to following Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido path to the altar when the new season of “Shahs of Sunset” beings airing. According to Us Weekly the engagement was filmed for the next season of “Shahs of Sunset.”
During the season finale last year cast mate Reza Farahan proposed to boyfriend Adam Neely. Farahan and Neely, a fashion model who also works as a post-production assistant for Ryan Murphy, have been together four years.
