Anchor Bay Films has release writer/director Matthew Arnold's 2012 supernatural thriller "Shadow People" on DVD today. The movie is based on the true story about a radio talk show host that unravels a conspiracy about encounters with mysterious beings known as the Shadow People and their role in the unexplained deaths of several hundred victims in the 1980s. Are Shadow People just made up for the movies or are they really being seen? The answer is a resounding “Yes” according to many reports. For many years these entities always used to be seen out of the corner of ones eye for a very brief moment. But it seems that there are more and more accounts of people seeing them straight on and for longer periods of time. Some people also state that they have been attacked while sleeping by these unidentified beings.
There are certainly many mixed views on what they are but their appearance is always described in the same way. Shadow People have always been depicted as a tall, mannish-looking entity with no facial features or eyes, although red eyes have also been reported. Witnesses say that these black forms are also wearing a long overcoat and wide-brimmed hat.
They have been seen alone and also in groups without communicating to each other or to the observer. The person often feels that he is being watched with great intensity, almost with an evil undertone. Could these be demonic creatures, malevolent tricksters or beings from a parallel universe? This question has not been completely answered yet but we will keep searching for that answer.
Although this was just a movie production, knowing about the many real on hand accounts and the experiences associated with the Shadow People, it really makes us take notice and bring the black forms into light. Someday we will have the answers and know why they are here.
