In another unexpected twist and turn of my daily life, I accidentally got invited to view the Shadow Lane VIP homes that are located directly across the street from Lambeau field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
These properties are an all-out tribute to Green Bay fans. They are simply decked out to the utmost amazing level of fan appreciation. Everything in them is extraordinary: Memorabilia, green and gold floors and walls, posters and photographs of past coaches and players line the walls of the interior like a museum, or a cathedral, or a shrine. They have official Green Bay dining sets, towels and blankets; even the furniture is green and gold. One of the houses has a silver football trophy which can be seen from the stadium.
The caretaker is extremely proud of these homes; he maintains two very similar properties on Shadow Lane for the owner. They are definitely not cheap to stay there, unless you have a nice group of friends to spread the cost. It runs about a thousand dollars for three nights during the regular season and the playoffs get a little more expensive.
