Everyone is invited to attend a special Blues Shabbat Service at Temple Menorah on Friday, December 6, featuring blues musician, Saul Kaye.

Saul Kaye, an amazing, Jewish blues musician, will perform his original compositions accompanied by his mesmerizing blues guitar playing.

This special service starts at 6:30 p.m. and features Saul, Cantor Jessica and the Temple Menorah Youth Choir, Kol HaKavod.

“It is a rare and beautiful occurrence when an artist manages to interweave his personal life, spiritual path, and art. After releasing 5 CDs of varying styles from the late 90s through 2008, Saul Kaye was pulled towards an idea that he claimed wouldn’t leave him alone. This was the natural marriage of Jewish history, characters, and liturgy with the Blues. This led to the release of Jewish Blues Volume One – Live!

If you like the blues, this is a variety not to be missed, and all are welcome to this evening of prayer and blues.
