SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Here in San Francisco we have a few hours to go yet before the fireworks display blasts out over the Bay. But in other parts of the world, New Year 2011 has already happened.

More than 1.5 million people gathered to watch the display over the Sydney Harbour Bridge as clocks struck midnight there.

Now see the video to the left showing some spectacular firework displays in some of the world's most glamorous cities. Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong celebrated the New Year with spectacular firework displays.
