In true La Dolce Vita style, the Center is taking over the beautiful San Francisco Design Center Galleria at 101 Henry Adams Street on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 7-11 PM. Soiree 9 community organizers plan a stellar party for guests, as well as an opportunity to support the vital work of the Center and its many programs for the Bay Area’s LGBT community. Celebrity emcee RAJA GEMINI, a current contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race, will entertain you all night long. Have a red carpet run-in of your own with our friendly, flash-wielding paparazzi; take an evening stroll in the atrium piazza; make a wish at the courtyard fountain; and enjoy a showcase of talented performance art, dance and music by leading Bay Area entertainers, including: Fauxnique, Glamamore, Veronica Klaus, DJ Stanley Frank, Honey Soundsystem and much more!

Projected attendance of the event is upwards of 800 people from community and civic leaders, volunteers, donors and key constituents. We are excited to announce this year’s honorary hosts are the newest slate of freshman Supervisors: Scott Wiener with Malia Cohen, Mark Farrell and Jane Kim.
Catch the Academy of Art University shuttle to and from Soiree 9! Free shuttle service is provided every 20 minutes between Justin Herman Plaza (Castro Street MUNI Station @ Castro & Market), Civic Center MUNI/BART Station (on the 8th Street side of Washington Mutual Bank), and the SF Design Center Galleria. First shuttle leaves Justin Herman Plaza at 6:40pm. Last shuttle leaves SF Design Center Galleria at 11:30pm.
