SF Chronicle Wine Comp winners poured at O'Brien's Market

This week at O'Brien's Market's weekly wine tasting:

The stewards will be pouring Gold Medal winners from this year's San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, held in January. This competition has become one of California's largest, with nearly 5000 wines from 1500 different producers being judged. In addition to Gold Medal winner selections, O'Brien's will offer a taste of some Double Gold Medal winners (when a five panel judge unanimously awards a wine the gold medal).

This week's tasting is $5 per person, and is being held Thursday through Sunday, March 4-7. On Thursday, tasting hours are 4-7pm, and Friday through Sunday 2-5pm.

O'Brien's Market's wine tastings are held at the Dale Road location only, at the corner of Dale and Pelandale Roads, in Modesto.
