According to a Jan. 14 report from About.com, several new bands have been announced for the 2013 Vans Warped Tour.
Among them is Tonight Alive, a five-piece pop punk band from Sydney, Australia.
The band is set to release a follow-up to 2011's critically-acclaimed What Are You So Scared Of ?, and a confirmed slot on the 2013 Warped Tour will surely propel the record to epic new heights.
Tonight Alive has been making headlines of late because lead singer Jenna McDougall is undoubtedly one of the hottest young musicians on the planet.
As of Jan. 16, McDougall, 20, has over 32,000 followers on Twitter, close behind the 40,000 mark set by her band.
The 2013 Vans Warped Tour hits Uniondale's Nassau Coliseum on July 13, before heading to Hartford, Conn., the following day.
The Vans Warped tour is officially the longest running festival tour in the United States, as it has been running for close to 20 years. The tour helped launch the careers of countless punk bands from a wide array of genres.
Acts like NOFX, Lagwagon, Eminem, Deftones, Sublime, Dropkick Murphys, Blink 182 and Motion City Soundtrack each served extensive stints on the tour in the past.
This year's installment of the Vans Warped Tour is perhaps the best in tour history, as Man Overboard, The Early November and The Black Dahlia Murder are set to hit the stage.
Several other top-notch rockers are expected to be rocking around the country this summer, as Anarbor, Action Item and The Amity Affliction will be playing the full tour.
