Making itself known last summer, the fatwa-authorized sex jihad is making a strong comeback throughout the Muslim World. As reported by the right-of-center news portal Breitbart.com Big Peace on Aug. 27, 2014, Muslim women from Great Britain to Australia are either heading to or already in ISIS-controlled areas in Syria and Iraq to "perform their duty in jihad" to ISIS terrorists of the sexual gratification kind.

Technically known as a Jihad al-Nika'h (Arabic: جهاد النكاح‎, often translated as Sexual Holy War or Holy War of Prostitution), highly renown Saudi cleric Sheikh Mohamad bin Abdul Rahman al-Arefe, Chief Imam of the Mosque of the King Fahd Academy of the Royal Saudi Navy issued a fatwa (Islamic theological ruling) authorizing girls as young as 14 to step forward to make sacrifices in the name of Islamic Jihad. Among the sacrifices expected of the women and girls was they surrender "their chastity" as well as "their dignity" as reported by the Assyrian International News Service on June 24, 2013.

Considering Jihad al-Nika'h as a legitimate form of holy war, Muslim women and girls from Britain, Iraq, Malaysia and Australia have reportedly recently volunteered to offer themselves in "temporary marriages," usually lasting only as long as it take for an ISIS jihadists to sexually gratify themselves. ISIS notifications in Mosul, Iraq have been posted throughout the city exhorting the citizenry, "We call upon the people of this county to bring their unmarried girls so they can fulfill their duty in sex jihad for their warrior brothers in the city and anyone who will not appear will feel the full force of the sharia [Islamic law] upon him."

Answering the initial call last year were hundreds of women and girls from the North African nation of Tunisia. As cited by the Tunis Times on Aug. 28, 2013, upwards of 100 Tunisian females returned home from Syria, many pregnant and reportedly infected with various sexually transmitted diseases, to include AIDS.

In what may have been the catalyst for the latter-day Jihad al-Nika'h, The Gatestone Institute published a report on July 12, 2012 referencing Muslim cleric Sheikh Abu al-Dema al-Qasab who declared in a fatwa "... innovative and unprecedented way to execute martyrdom operations: place explosive capsules in your anus. However, to undertake this jihadi approach you must agree to be sodomized for a while to widen your anus so it can hold the explosives."

The sheikh reportedly cited a question from an unnamed jihadist, "Is it permissible for me to let one of the jihadi brothers sodomize me to widen my anus if the intention is good?" The cleric responded "necessity makes permissible the prohibited," but further stated, "Jihad comes first, for it is the pinnacle of Islam, and if the pinnacle of Islam can only be achieved through sodomy, then there is no wrong in it."

Presumable, the cleric purposefully declined to consider if there was a different approach to widening the anus of a human bomber by means other than sodomy. Accordingly, there has been whispers within various Western intelligence agencies that human bombers with explosives implanted in them instead of on them are the next wave of terrorist operations to hit the West.
