SLOW on Melrose has always been known to make the fashion statement. With killer vintage, one of a kind brands and an overall style that is unmistakably Los Angeles, it’s a must stop shopping spot. Their sense of style, as a brand can only be characterized by very few people who can rock the fur, feathers, hats, hair, skinny jeans, torn tees, snake skin boots and Navajo jewelry all in one look. Well meet Tanner Horn. LA based Rock-pop musician and frontman to the pop band Sextronauts. Tanner has a look, a sound and an attitude all of his own but it truly embodies the SLOW brand. And since LA is THE go to mecca for up and coming music and rock bohemian styling, what better way than to merge the two together. Officially in a collab, SLOW and Sextronauts are giving us what we want. Unique fashion, great music and even art.
To kick off the collab you can swing by SLOW and catch a glimpse into the mind of Tanner Horn. A Sextronaut dedicated art installation, that’s not for the conservative. With his hit song and music video “Do ya with my Mouth” running on repeat and rockin head phones to clue you into the Sextronaut vibe you can rock out while getting your art on. Tanner isn’t just a song writer, guitar player, and leader of the Sextronauts. He’s also an artist. With a deep vision of the madness and chaos in his own life and the surrounding world around him, he takes apart all the memories, all the meanings and all the pieces of intrigue, then reapplies them into his vision of beauty, inspiration and passion and sexuality.
You’ve got just a couple more weeks to go check out the installation, buy his CD's at the store, and get caught up on Sextronaut's music, because this is just the beginning.
