"Sex Sent Me to the ER" is returning to primetime cable TV this spring, according to a press announcement from TLC on March 26, 2014. The sexy series, which may serve as a cautionary tale or a source of bedroom ideas, premieres on Saturday, April 12, 2014 (9 p.m. ET/PT) and runs through the end of the year.

The series bares all that goes on behind bedroom doors and straight into emergency wards, making for some salacious tales of sexual exploits gone outrageously wrong. Everyday people share their most embarrassing intimate exploits and the results can be hilarious.

The stories are retold by emergency room physicians and the actual couples who, got into a fix and needed a doctor to fix it. The first four episodes described the stories a couple who tried tree sex, vampire bride sex, head pounding sex with a 440 pound virgin, a woman experiencing a two-hour orgasm and a fight over a broken penis. See the attached photo slideshow for pictures and brief descriptions of these episodes.

The series will heat up with more real-life, humorous stories of what happens when passion turns to panic and leads to the ER in 35 brand-new episodes. Featured stories include an adventurous couple whose taste for candy and sex land them in the ER, a man and woman who bring their sex life down the grocery store aisle, and a scientist who aspires to become one with nature, but mistakenly gets a little too close for comfort when he does so while buck naked.

"Sex Sent Me to the ER," which first premiered in Dec., 2013, is produced by GRB Entertainment for
