On Tuesday, March 11 Deadline exclusively reported that a pilot has been ordered for "Sex Box," a new reality series where a couple having relationship problems will have sex in a box and then have relationship counseling. The series is an adaptation of the popular British series of the same name. The pilot will be one hour long and is expected to air on WE TV.

The episode will follow a couple having sex in a soundproof box on stage and then immediately talking to a panel of experts about their relationship afterwards. The "in the moment" style is supposed to promote conversations that are "emotionally honest and filterless." The project is being produced by Relativity TV.

"Sex Box" originally aired as a television special in the United Kingdom which became an overnight success with viewers and on social media websites. Relativity acquired the rights from Clearstory, the company who created the series, for distribution in the United States.

The relationship talk show series is one of the first major acquisitions by Marc Juris, who took over as president of WE in October. The pilot is expected to air in late 2014, although the panel of experts have yet to be announced. In the original series, the panel consists of relationship experts, psychotherapists and relationship writers.
