Christina Hendricks, Dakota Fanning, Julia Roberts and even Princess Kate Middleton have the knitting bug! Believed to have originated in the Middle East during the 11th century, it's an art still being practiced with an increasing fanbase.
The event features over a hundred new classes since its 2011 inception, including 'Basics of Couture Knitting', 'Natural Dyeing and Shibori for the Fiber Artist', 'Spindling Silk' and for the first time 'Machine Knitting' classes. Exclusive classes from master-level knitters are also available, such as Brooke Nico's 'Advanced Lace' class which will be a wealth of information taking a look at trickier lace patterns.
With the tagline, 'Fashion.Fiber.Education', expect more than just classes! There's a Marketplace boasting yarn and accessories from around the world for purchase, the Knitted Art Gallery and fashion shows will also be taking place!
Naturally, tickets are selling fast!
