Sew much fabric sew little time!

Instead of buying new fabric for that next project - check out your stash. You never know what is down in the bottom of the pile that might be perfect for that blouse or blanket you are planning on making next.

After sewing for more than twenty years I know I have fabric that I purchased when I first started sewing that I just had to have and never used. Well its time for all of us to use it or let someone else have a chance to. Some of that vintage fabric you may have stashed away is one of those hot items some are looking for on Ebay.

I recently sold a stash of my fabric to someone who really wanted the print for her quilting designs. The print went out production about five years ago. I had enough yardage in my stash to sell her so she could create 10 more of her specialty quilts.

Your stash that you may never get to could make a person very happy. By clearing out your old material, you will have room and money for the newest materials coming out.

While organizing my stash, I have actually been using some of the smaller pieces to make microwavable heating pads. They are useful, quick and easy to make. Check back next week for instructions.
