Update: Rescue pending!!

A severely neglected German shepherd mix is currently being held at the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control's Carson facility in Gardena, California.

The dog, who is estimated to be twelve years of age, has severely infected eyes which are crusted over and her entire demeanor screams of neglect. A video captured of the downtrodden dog reveals her loss of hope...

The dog, whose name is unknown, was taken in at the facility on September 3 - her poor condition begs for the assistance of a rescue agency which will be able to address her multiple health issues. On Wednesday, the non-profit rescue agency, Leave No Paws Behind, wrote about the following post about this dog:

She is not 2, she is more like 12-13 and she needs help! We cannot help without a committed and approved foster in the Los Angeles Ca and surrounding areas. Ohhh my heart just hurts for her FOSTER NEEDED! Please email info@leavenopawsbehind.com. Let's show her how much her life matters!

Please take a moment to network on this neglected dog's behalf.
