Two sisters from Westfield, Mass. appear to be the targets of a sick individual who has left severed rabbit heads in each of their mailboxes on Monday April 21, 2104, according to the Boston Herald.

A man at one address called the police when his mother discovered a rabbit head in her mailbox. The woman told the Westfield News that her sister had also found a rabbit head in her mailbox. Her sister lives about four blocks away.

According to the Westfield police, a hunter saw the heads and thinks they are from wild rabbits, as opposed to domesticated rabbits. The rabbit heads were removed from the mailboxes and disposed of.

The Westfield police are investigating and asking the public for help. Neighbors and nearby witnesses did not see anything suspicious.

If you have any information regarding the severed heads, please contact the Westfield police at 413-562-5411.
