We had a below average day across the region with an overcast sky and light rain; there was only 0.01" measured at Philly International, but we only made it up to 68 after a low of just 62. Overnight lows will stay in the lower 60s with showers and an occasional thunderstorm as the warm front is just on top of us.
Thursday will remain overcast with showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. Highs will be in the middle and upper 70s and some of the thunderstorms may be severe with strong winds and large hail possible.
Friday and Saturday will start off sunny, but by the afternoon once we reach our convective temperature(the approximate temperature the surface must warm to in order for clouds to develop) we can see some light rain showers pop up with highs in the lower 70s.
Sunday and Memorial Day look will feature highs ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s with no rain chances so parades and barbeques shall be fine. We may flirt with 90 come Tuesday.
