Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption in Mission, Kan. is in need of foster homes. The rescue receives animals that are destined to be disposed of and finds them homes. They provide foster training on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
On March 2 Unleashed will be at Hamburger Mary’s in Kansas City. Other events planned will be a Lend a Paw Dinner on April 20th and a 5k walk on May 18th. More details will be given as they become available.
Yogi is a five year-old Labrador and Shepherd mix that is black and brown in color. He is a large dog that does not like cats and came to the rescue in Nov. of 2012.
Three year-old Dumplin is a Chihuahua and short coat mix. He is tan and white and came to the shelter in Sept. of 2012.
Spork is a three year-old Shepherd mix and is tan and black in color. He is a large dog and has been neutered. He came to the shelter in December of 2012.
Zipper is four years-old and is of medium size and came to the shelter on Jan. 3. He is black in color and has been neutered.
Two year-old Max is a Boxer mix of medium size. He is white and brindle in color and has been neutered. He came to the shelter on Jan. 4.
Sausage is a two year-old Border Collie mix. He is small and white in color. He came to the rescue on Jan. 9 and has been neutered.
Pops is an eight year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix that is blue and white in color. He is a large dog and has been neutered. He came to the shelter Jan. 9.
Marilyn is a Chihuahua short coat mix and is cream in color. She came to the rescue on Jan. 18.
A two month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is Syrup. She is black and brown in color and came to the rescue on Jan. 20.
Eight year-old Willie is a Long Haired Miniature Dachshund purebred. He is small and black and tan in color. He came to the rescue on Jan. 25 and has been neutered.
Unleashed Pet Rescue is always in need of donations of supplies and money to help care for the animals.
