Several current magazines sporting Beatle faces on their covers

Promoting albums and guitar apps has several current magazines sporting Beatles and Beatle-related covers.

Both Rolling Stone and Billboard feature cover stories about Paul McCartney, who's out talking about his new "Kisses on the Bottom" album.

In Billboard, McCartney is featured in a Q&A, much of it centered around his new album "Kisses on the Bottom."

Rolling Stone's cover story, excerpted on the web, includes a bold statement that he has no plans to retire.

"You get the argument 'Make way for the young kids And you think, 'F--- that, let them make way for themselves. If they're better than me, they'll beat me,'" he tells the magazine.

The Rolling Stone interview also has prompted several "news" stories to promote it, including ones highlighting McCartney's retelling of the story of how the Beatles almost reunited.

The latest M Music & Musicians has fellow Beatle Ringo Starr on the cover talking about drumming and his new album.

The Beatles themselves are on the March Uncut out of the UK. The story concerns the Beatles' time in Hamburg.  The issue comes with a free CD called "Sounds of the Star Club" with 16 tracks of songs covered by The Beatles, including tracks by Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Fats Waller, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Ray Charles and Elvis Presley.

And the latest issue of Guitar Aficianado features DhanI Harrison on the cover and inside talking about the soon-to-be-released George Harrison Guitar App. Harrison will also be appearing on TBS' "Conan" Feb. 23, the day the app is released. (We'll have some special news about the app coming that day.)

Finally, there is also the Beatles' tribute magazine celebrating their 50th anniversary from Bauer Publishing. You can find more details about it here
