Several arrested in Horizon Ciry drug bust

A joint investigation conducted by the Horizon Police Horizon PD Department & the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Strike Team culminated in the arrest of three people for narcotics related offenses.

Information was received by Horizon PD on “street level" narcotic activity stemming from a residence in the 14300 block of Thayer Pease in Horizon City, TX. During an investigation by HPD Officers & Sheriff’s Deputies, contact was made with a male subject who agreed to deliver narcotics to undercover officers posing as narcotics buyers.

Deputies later met with a male subject who delivered a total of 1.5 grams of cocaine at a location minutes away from the residence at 14300 Thayer Pease.

Deputies who remained on surveillance at the residence in question observed two males approach the residence and remove a package from the side of the home. Both male subjects left the residence in a vehicle where Deputies followed the to a residence in the 700 block of Palmer.

Deputies along with HPD Officers made contact with the male where an additional 4 grams of cocaine was found inside the vehicle.

Jimmy Codina (20), Gabriel Roman (19) and Daniel Rodriguez (19) were arrested in the scene.
