One of the best parts of fall aside from it finally being boot season is that it's also sweater season! Who doesn't love to don on a warm fuzzy sweater that makes everything just feel right? It doesn't matter what your personal fashion style is, it's time to move things around in your closet and make room for some of Fall 2013 hottest sweater trends. The best part of these sweaters? They're all under $100 so make sure you purchase several to keep you warm through out the rest of the year.
Chunky cable knit sweaters are always the perfect go to sweater on cold days, and if you have an older brother or significant other than you're pretty much set in this department. Just steal one of theirs and pair up with a pair of skinny jeans or a mini skirt and printed tights. If you like stripes check out Levi's Striped Cable Sweater ($78) or for a boyfriend sweater check out Gap's Cable Boyfriend Sweater ($60).
Graphic tees are for the summer but you can wear graphic sweaters in the fall! Check out Forever 21's Love 21 Queen of Hearts sweater ($24/80) or an Animal Graphic Pullover Sweater from Charlotte Russe ($26.99).
Nothing says cold weather like a Fair Isles sweater. If you want one of these, act fast because they're super popular and they sell fast! Check out BDG Fireside Fair Isle Sweater from Urban Outfiitters ($69) or the Qmack Fair Isle Sweater available at Macy's ($69).
Cardigans are perfect to have in any closet for those days that you make you want to wear layers and to incorporate some of your summer tops into your fall wardrobe. Check out Banana Republic Ribbed Shawl Collar Open Cardigan ($90) or the Noisy May Mohair Boyfriend Cardigan from ASOS ($80).
Fuzzy sweaters were seen all over the runway so why not add some runway to your wardrobe? Check out Search for Sanity Fuzzy Sweater at Nordstrom ($78) or Guess Fuzzy Intarsia Sweater at Lord & Taylor ($52).
Bring back the '70s with turtlenecks. When wearing turtlenecks you can go with lightweight ones and layer with your cardigans or go with a more heavy texture and wear alone. Check out the Colour Block Polo Neck Sweater from Wallis Fashion ($52) and the Club Monaco Julie Colorblock Turtleneck Top from ShopBop ($80) for a more fitted turtleneck. If you want a thicker turtleneck sweater than check out J. Crew's Cambridge Cable Knit Turtleneck Sweater ($98) or Superdry Torbery Turtleneck Sweater ($100).
Lastly, you don't have to wait until Christmas to wear embellished sweaters. Just stay away from sweaters that have ornaments and bells or make noise when you move. Check out Anthropolgie Angel of the North Algarve Beaded Sweater ($80)or the Teagan Embellished Long Sleeve Sweater ($79) available on BlueFly.
Just remember when you wear an oversized sweater to balance the proportions of the rest of your outfit to look your best rocking sweaters this fall.
