Seven deadly days of zombies: Wrath Zombie

Wrath Zombies

Wrath zombies are the new kids on the block. Up until the twentieth century, it was generally assumed that the dead moved slowly. This is probably because the original sloth zombies were in turn based on zombified human beings who had been drugged up, and thus were not in any condition to go out for a jog. Wrath zombies changed all that.

"Zombies aren't supposed to be fast! Why are they fast? I'm calling zombie bullsh*t on that, you know? They're...not ALLOWED to be so fast!" - Zoey, Left4Dead

Wrath, known as "ira" in Latin, is the sin of impatience, of violence, of circumnavigating justice through vigilantism. In life, the wrathful take matters literally into their own hands -- or fists.

Wrath zombies aren't just out to kill you, they will run you down like a dog. The same physiognomy that makes shambling sloth zombies dangerous -- they never tire -- goes for Wrath zombies too. If they never tire, why not run instead of walk? It's not like the zombie will ever need to take a breather.

Wrath zombies are also unrepentantly violent. Sloth zombies can be avoided, glutton zombies can be tricked by using your fellow survivors as bait. But wrath zombies just want to beat to a pulp whatever they find, clawing, scratching, biting, and kicking.

Abilities: A wrath zombie’s Strength and Dexterity increases by +2, it has no Constitution score, and its Charisma changes to 1.

Skills: A wrath zombie has the same skills as it did in life.

Feats: A wrath zombie loses all feats of the base creature and gains the Run feat.
