Seth MacFarlane has split from girlfriend Emilia Clarke. The “Family Guy” creator and the “Game of Thrones” star have allegedly gone their separate ways, E! Online reported on Mar. 20.
"They are no longer dating," a source told E! News. "It was really a location challenge. She has been in Europe shooting “Game of Thrones” and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends."
Seth MacFarlane’s split with Emilia Clarke comes just one month after he hosted to the Oscars to mixed reviews. Seth and Emilia went public with their relationship last Sept. at an HBO Emmy after party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
The couple, whom some fans thought to be an odd pair, seemed happy enough for them, but met an end after they couldn’t make their long distance love work – a fate suffered by many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
